My Experience at BHU (Kashi Hindu Vishwavidyalaya):
Hi! Friends, I am going to share few lines about my experience of four years at BHU. BHU was one of my dream. I had listened for very long time that BHU is the largest residential university in Asia. Now I tasted this university and my dream came true.
When I was preparing for Pre-Medical Examination(PMT) then I had opportunity to visit this university and I surprised and excited that If I would get admission in BHU. I could not take admission in Institute of Medical Sciences(IMS) but I got opportunity to study in Agriculture Sciences at Institute of Agricultural Sciences(IAS), BHU.That was the only way to study at BHU. I secured 16th All India Rank through Undergraduate Entrance Test(UET) and got admission in this big university.
I gained too much from this university because of great visionary and eminent personality as Pt. Madan Mohan Malviyaji (Founder of BHU), Dr. Annie Besant and Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnanji. I spent four years in Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan Hostel(more likely to pronounced as Dr. S.R.K.Hostel) and all students are called as SRKians. My hostel ware surrounded by shopping center, SBI bank, Health center, Vishwanath Temple, Sweeming Pool and our institute play ground.
BHU is a heaven of Knowledge and this university satisfied my hunger of knowledge. BHU is a genuine pedagogue for all students. BHU provided an excellent academic ambiance of education along with moral values and makes me liberal.
When I was taken admission in BHU then I thought that I may do the things but after completion of my four years I am able to say that I can do anything. BHU provided me to think tank because after taking admission in BHU and passing the time of 4 to 6 months of 1st year of 1st semester, each and every student of my batch thought big, go at the top position and touch the pinnacle of life. Then I also thought Why should I not. After that my inclination went towards management side (MBA). I took advice from my senior about preparation for further career. All my senior advised me to go in the field of management. And I tool admission in PT coaching for preparation of MBA. In final year, unfortunately of fortunately I was not selected in any of MBA school but I was option to take admission in Indian Institute of Plantation Management(IIPM), Bangelore at the eleventh hours. But I did not take admission in IIPM because of some reasons and then I took admission in Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology(DA-IICT), Gandhinagr for M.Sc.(Information and Communication Technology in Agriculture and Rural Development)/M.Sc.(ICT-ARD) programme.
I got some pleasant opportunity to meet CEO, MD, President, Vice-president, eminent professors, lecturers and others professional during Alumni meet under Platinum Jubilee celebration of our institute in BHU. I gained lot of things from our alumni. All alumni came in hostel and meet to each of SRKians. I enjoyed lot in hostel life that can not be forgettable. I enjoyed my study during exam period at back side area of Vishwanath Temple, Agronomy farm and Central library along with my circle friends. I enjoyed with one night game during my whole exam period. I gained a lot of things from my senior. In SRK there are strong nuclear force of attraction between seniors and juniors that I never found any where. I felt very pleasant when any function start from KULGEET that is the the very unique and very special and all the audience chanted KULGEET when performers on the stage started KULGEET .I enjoyed with all functions like SHRISHTI cultural festival, Athlete meet, University cultural festival(SPANDAN) and others. And I believe that such place like BHU and Banaras,I can never find any where else.
I found that BHU student have lot of potential and competency to face any strees situation and they proved the global competitiveness that makes BHU special for universal education. Students of BHU added the standard of quality of education i. e. value addition for the BHU.I found that students of BHU who passed from this university achieved at top position in any of the organization.
There was not only consideration of BHU but also a place i. e Banaras(Kashi), which means a city of experiment of life, and located on the western bank of River Ganga.
Facilities that provided by BHU that was really amazing. BHU administration was always supportive in nature and they thinked about benefit of student welfare by proving all facilities like internet in all room in each hostel, sports, NCC, gyme and others.
But now I feel life at DA-IICT is very professional. I am using my knowledge and potential in the field of Information and Communication Technology in Agriculture and Rural Development that I learnt form BHU. There are entirely different environment from BHU. I missed BHU very much but whenever I would have opportunity to visit then undoubtedly I will taste the essence of BHU once again.
